About Me

Mehrnoosh Ramezannia is a freelance artist in the field of visual arts   and she works predominately in the medium of Painting and Printmaking.

She was born in 1981 in the city of Babol. The pristine nature and geography of her hometown drew her attention to art and was a pretext for her love of painting and literature.
She received her diploma in Literature and Humanities in the same city, and went on to graduate from university with a degree in Librarianship with a Minor in Art.
In 2007, she continued her studies in painting professionally under the guidance of Nosratollah Moslemian.
She is also a member of the Iranian Painters Association and the Institute of Visual Arts.
She held her first solo exhibition in 2009 at the Elahe Gallery. From 2011, she has focused on hand printing and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, whilst presenting new and combined techniques.
In 2014, she participated in an ecotourism guide course and became acquainted with  the different aspects of nature and environment. Although an interest in natural elements can be seen from her early works, this time she has taken a psychological and social approach to showing the coexistence of nature and humans in her art.
In 2016, after taking an interest in teaching art to kids, she tried to connect the lessons of nature with the world of children. She has recorded the experience of storytelling in the Museum of National Dolls, as well as conducting storytelling in nature workshops in the Museum of Dolls and Culture of Iran, in her artistic record.
In 2017, her participation in a workshop on children's literature provided the framework for her to volunteer as a reviewer of paintings in the Children's Book Council.
